Hello user support,
I'm trying to install TurboVNC on my Ubuntu Linux computer, but am having some difficulties. I download and install the turbovnc_2.2.5_amd64.deb on sourceforge, but when I launch the application, nothing happens. I installed the file correctly, but I have no clue why this is happening. It shows up in the "show applications" menu, I click on it, nothing happens. Please help.

Which application? The TurboVNC Viewer? It requires Java at the moment
(the 3.0 release will have an embedded JRE, thus eliminating that
requirement), so install OpenJDK if it isn't already installed. If it
still doesn't work, then try running it from the command line
(/opt/TurboVNC/bin/vncviewer) and post the error messages.

Ah. That was the issue. Java was not installed
