Tunnelblick keeps a log of OpenVPN and Tunnelblick actions from when you click "Connect" until a configuration is disconnected.
- Click on the Tunnelblick icon in the menu/status bar and then click "VPN Details…". Tunnelblick's VPN Details window will open.
- Click the "Configurations" button at the top of the window.
- Click to select the configuration that you wish to connect. (You may have only one configuration.)
- Click on the "Log" tab on the right side of the window. The log will be displayed.
- Click the "Connect" button in the lower-right corner of the window.
- You may now minimize the VPN Details window if you wish, or move it out of the way. If you minimized it, you can get to back to its original position by clicking the Tunnelblick icon in the Dock, or by again clicking the Tunnelblick icon in the menu/status bar and clicking and "VPN Details… button.
- Wait until the problem happens once or twice.
You can scroll through the log, and/or you can use Command-A to select the entire log, then Command-C to copy it, and then paste it wherever you want.
If you want help interpreting the log, please follow the numbered instructions above, then disconnect the configuration and click the "Copy Diagnostic Info to Clipboard" button on the VPN Details… window and paste into a reply.
