All,

The auction date has been set for Sunday night, June 9th at 8:00 pm EST.  The deadline for making roster moves will be 1 week before the auction (June 2nd 8:00 pm EST).  Please make sure to keep you calendar free.  If something comes up and you aren't able to attend I'll ask you to find a proxy to fill in for you during the auction.  

See below for decisions to be made.

Holdout players:
In order to have your holdout players eligible to play in the first 3 games of the season they must be signed by the deadline.  You can accomplish signing the players through the TFC site by going to Manage Franchise --> Roster. Below is a list of current, unsigned holdout players:

P. Lindsay - Kyle
M. Ryan - Pez
P. Mahomes - Seth
J. Cook - Seth
G. Kittle - Veen
R. Anderson - Bill  (player was 'Jim ruled' last year, must be signed or released prior to auction)  

If you don't want to retain these players at their holdout price you can drop them without a cap hit.   You may retain the rights of the player and not sign them at this time.  Please consult the Charter for full details on holdouts including compensatory selections and Jim's rule.  

Renegotiate players:
If you want to renegotiate players using the current tag numbers then this must be done by this deadline.  You are eligible to renegotiate players after the auction and before the start of the season if you have the cap space.  Please know that the cost to renegotiate may change though.  You can see the current players eligible for renegotiation and their price on the TFC site at League --> Renegotiation Report. 

Hold Rights Players:
Each franchise has a list of players who were on their roster at the end of last season but that player's contract has expired.  Each franchise can designate 1 of these players as a Restricted Free Agent.  You can find details in the charter.  You can designate your RFA player on the TFC site by going to Manage Franchise --> Roster and scrolling to the bottom.  For the remainder of the players left in your hold rights section, please go ahead and drop them.  This will make life easier for Paul and me when we go through and add the auction results.  

Trades:
In order for a trade to be effective for the auction it must be announced (not finalized) by the deadline.

Cuts:
Any cuts that you want to impact your available cap space or roster spots must be made by the deadline.

All,

The auction spreadsheet has been created and updated given everyone's current roster construction.  If any additional moves are made tomorrow then I'll update the spreadsheet accordingly.  Please click the link and make sure you are able to access and check to ensure everything is correct for your squad and that you remember how the spreadsheet works.  


Also, the Yahoo site has been set up.  Please check your rosters and ensure they are accurate.  You should be able to use Yahoo now to sort and search for available free agents.  From this point forward it is your responsibility to keep your rosters between yahoo and TFC in sync.  If you make add/drops/trades in TFC then you need to make the corresponding move in Yahoo (and vice versa).  

Final reminder that rosters lock at 9:00 pm EST tomorrow.  Auction will be the following Sunday.  Email with questions.

The deadline has passed and all the auction spreadsheet has been updated.  Please let me know if you identify any errors.  

We will follow a similar path of previous seasons by starting the auction in an offline mode.  Kyle is first up to nominate and can add a player name in the blue cell (U15).  Bidding on the player will continue until a winner is found and then we will move onto the next.  Getting a few players done early will make the auction night in a week slightly easier.  

Let me know if there are any concerns  There is a google sheets app for smart phones if you want to download in order to make getting quick access a little easier during the week.

Kyle informed me earlier this week that he has a conflict and won’t be able to make the auction on Sunday. But we have found a proxy. Our founder, Chris Fauble, will return and make bids on behalf of Kyle.

Pez is out so it is only you and Chu remaining. Bidding has fallen to you. Hadn’t see anything from you so wasn’t sure if it was a silent boycott again or lack of availability. 
The early bidding isn’t anything official in the charter so there is nothing compelling anyone to participate. Just let us know if you plan to wait and we will to finish up Brees and the remaining players on Sunday.
