Seems like it will feel cold .. so bundle up if you r gonna try to make it .. I wanna see skimmers .. Sue

Truly weather for ducks today! I don’t know who took the photo of Temescal last week but I sent it to my friend Marie Cotter who is an artist, homebound, recovering from a fall. She drew this from the photo.
Perhaps this is as close to nature as we will all get today.

Wow, Carol, your friend is a wonderful artist .. That was one of my pics .. glad she got some joy out of it and that you shared it w/all of us .. it truly is the little things that matter ..
Btw it was quite the adventure this am .. hit 80 at maze & the heavens opened .. but slacked a little so was gonna go .. then at exit for Meeker poring again so i decided to bail and managed to get lost in the commercial area .. was finally on San Pablo & the rain stopped totally so recommitment to going .. don’t arrive til 8 and the rain is still finished .. and only Travis is there .. reading in his car .. he comes over to say his battery is not working .. and he has AAA but no phone .. ok I say .. while it’s not raining let’s go see if the Skimmers are there .. & yes, he found them (maybe 8-15) flying south .. it was cccold & windy and the rain started again .. Triple A came .. and all was well w/the world ..
