Hi all.
My deck block base popped off and left 2 broken screws in the deck. Any sage advise on how to remove the broken screws and reattach the block base?  Thanks, John

It may be time to install an inspection port so that you could put a backing plate to remount.

Buy a new boat and throw away the blocks and especially the screws. There’s special bits to drill out broken screws.

You could try an EZ out, but if that doesn’t work the rules allow for some variation in the block location so you could make new holes to screw into and seal over the old holes.

May be able to take a Dremel tool with small cutting wheel and grind a slot in the broken screws, then back them out with a small flat-head screwdriver.
