Hi,

We have several languages that are missing a translation leader.
A translation leader is the one who is in charge of managing access
right to the language on Pootle (creating a team), he is also
responsible to look for the good quality of the translations.
(Also as responsible, you receive a small flag on bugs.tryton.org :-).

Here are the missing languages:

- Simplified Chinese
- Japanese
- Spanish (Mexico)
- Russian
- Dutch
- Lithuanian
- Czech
- Bulgarian

If you want to manage one of those language, please answer and give your
pootle and roundup login name.

Thanks,

Hi Cédric
I request the creation of the Spanish (Peru) language, I would take care of this but my request was objected to and must insist on creation

You could facilitate the creation of it and let my responsibility.

Thanks,

Fernando Sánchez

This is off-topic.

It does not require IT knowledge to make translations but more knowledge
in enterprise/business. But I need the login of the administrator.

I can help in Japanese if required. However, I am neither a translator nor an Accounting professional, if that's OK. Are there Japanese using Tryton? or Is there a demand for the same from Japanese?

That help would be very much appreciated indeed!

Most (if not all) of the translators are not professional translators
or accountant professionals, I don't think it's a problem as long as
there is no big misinterpretations ; the translations, like the code
can evolve.

I don't know if there are Japanese using Tryton although I remember
an American guy working in Japan that was interested some times ago.

Also last year at the GNU Health Conference I met some people using
GNU Health in Japan, so the GTK and Sao clients do need to be
translated and some of the modules (but I don't know where those
translations are and how advanced they are).

We have not translator currently for Japanese.
So you are welcome to be, you just have to give me your login name on
Pootle.
Here is where the translation must be done:
https://pootle.tryton.org/ja_JP/tryton/

Just a quick reminder of how the translation is managed. You can
translate at any time on Pootle but the translations are synchronized
one month before a major release (twice per year) and you should try to
finish the translation 2 days before the release date.

The administrator are in charge of given access right to other member of
the translation team of his language.

Waiting for 6 months for the update to occur is de-motivating.
Can at a least a local copy be made available so that results can be seen immediately at least on the local machine for Japanese?

You can download the po files from pootle and load them to your local
machine. Also there is an script [1] to export the po files of modules.

Hope it helps!
