Hi All,

I am using tryton 4.2.  and not able to understand how routings and work centers function.
I have created following things:

Product A   cost price = 30,  list price = 50
Product B  cost price = 100 and list price = 200

BOM  input product A with quantity 1
BOM output product B with quantity 2

if i do production workflow then i get production cost 30.
and product B got created moves with quantity 2 and unit price 15.
and this looks current.

But later I have used routing and work center with cost 20 per cycle.
for the same production. continued workflow and finished work.
But I am getting message when i click on Done state of the production. and not able to finish the production.

it says  "The costs of the outputs (30.00000) of production "16" do not match the cost of the production (50.0000)."
I did not understand this message. i know production cost is 30(input product A) + 20 (work center cost)
But why is it telling The costs of the output is 30?
According the setup the cost of output products should be 50(25 for each product of B). is it not currect?

Here i am using cost method in both products as Fixed.

Thanks for the help.

It is because the production distribute the cost at creation based on
BOM. But later if there are changes on the cost of the production like
some work cycles, the cost is not re-distributed. The user has to update
the output move unit price to get a output price equals to the cost.

We know it is not very user-friendly. There is a bug opened to implement
an cost allocation method (similar to landed cost I guess).
