Hi,

When createing a supplier return shipment from a purchase the storage
location of the warehouse is used. When the storage has children
locations, is not possible to select the moves from it's children
locations (like done on customer shipments), and a internal shipment
must be done to move the stock from it's child locations.

Is there any reason to force the creation of the internal shipment? Why
child stock is not used in this case?

If this is a missing feature we can work on a patch for it.

Thanks in advance

I think it is done on purpose. Normally you store on the same place the
thing you have to return.
Adding child location will not make too much sense because there is no
try assignation and it seems logical because it is specific product that
you return.
