Hi,

I am working on a project and I require the use of Trinity. However, when I run my command using Trinity, it says that

** NOTE: Latest version of Trinity is v2.11.0, and can be obtained at: https://github.com/trinityrnaseq/trinityrnaseq/releases

followed by,

Trinity Trinity-v2.11.0 requires salmon to be installed. Get it here: https://combine-lab.github.io/salmon/ at /usr/local/bin/Trinity line 3973.

I went to the designated site to download trinity, but I am having trouble installing as there are four different assets and I am not sure which to download and how to download it onto command-line.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I am running all my commands on command-line and using a secure shell program.

Hi,

Trinity uses Salmon v1.0.0

If you can use our Trinity singularity or docker image, they come with everything preinstalled and that's the best way to use Trinity.

best,
