Hello CTAT users and Brian,

Thanks for developing and supporting this tool.

I am trying to reproduce an older STAR-Fusion analysis and am looking for the following archived CTAT genome library:

GRCh38_gencode_v31_CTAT_lib_Aug152019.plug-n-play

I checked the current CTAT resource directory and related GitHub pages, but it appears that this older library is no longer publicly available.

My STAR-Fusion version is v1.7, and for reproducibility I would ideally like to use the original plug-n-play library that was compatible with that analysis.

Would it be possible to share this archived plug-n-play package if it is still available internally?

If sharing the archived plug-n-play package is not possible, I would greatly appreciate any information that could help me reproduce the original resource as closely as possible, especially the exact input files and reference resources that were used to build it.

My main goal is to reproduce the older analysis as closely as possible.

Thank you very much for your time and help.

Best regards,
Nozomi Kasazumi

Hi,

Sorry, we don't have archives for this. You can rebuild it using the same version of STAR (ideally use the Docker image for star-fusion corresponding to your target version), and follow instructions here: https://github.com/TrinityCTAT/ctat-genome-lib-builder/wiki

Pull the gencode gtf and reference genome fasta for the versions of interest from the human GENCODE site and use as input.  We use only the main chromosomes version (not including the haplotypes and unmapped scaffolds).

best of luck!
