HEAT Christmas Party, Registrations & Board Nominations

Hey Gang!  

It’s almost time for our annual HEAT Christmas Party!!  It will be Saturday, December 3rd at Skip and Charlene's. Arrive at 5:30 and plan to eat around 6:00 p.m. HEAT will provide turkey, ham, soft drinks, and water. Please bring a covered dish (with something in it). BYOB.  You can sign up for a dish by clicking here.

We will also have some awards and the famous Dirty Santa. If you wish to participate in Dirty Santa, please bring a gift of no more than $15.  Families are welcome. If anyone is bringing the kids and you’re interested in a kid gift exchange, maybe like a $5 book exchange or something, let me know. 

For all those early birds, 2017 HEAT Member registration is now open.  Click here to register.  If you have questions on whether you registered for 1 or 2 years in 2016, let me or Craig know. 

Jill Welbern will be taking over as HEAT President in 2017 . Craig Ostrom, Marilyn Meyer, Mike Scheetz, Carrie Haapala, Carol Clark and Randy Tomlinson will remain on the HEAT Board. In addition, the Nominating Committee has selected the following members to serve on the Board if elected by the Club in our January (TBD) meeting:

Brad Alsup
George Brown
Susan Taplin
Cheryl Torr

Oh yes....another idea. I think the person who agrees to run the kids tri should not have to pay dues that year since they put tons of TIME and energy into the event.....thoughts????
