Woodturners alert

[Suella Postles]

I have had to take down a very old and dead plumtree that  has been cut into manageable logs. Do we know any woodturners who might be interested?

I've  informed the Kegworth Trent Valley turners and the   Association of Wood Turners, but local word of mouth could also be useful. Free. Priority to local folk.

I don't want to have it burnt, if at all possible.

Richard Thorpe one of my trustees is a wood turner, I think he might be a member of one of the groups you mentioned. I could tell him. Otherwise men in sheds? Do night school classes still offer this?
