Dear fellow transitioners,
a daughter is thinking of getting an apple press and scratter - any ideas, advice please?

Goodness Gary! I had no idea this email still worked.
Cherry would be the best person to ask. I know you're in contact with her and Andrew, although I believe they're in France at the mo.
The Transition press came from Vigo. Not the cheapest option but certainly sturdy and has lasted well. The electric scratter is noisy and very efficient. Only needed for large quantities.
