Walking through Bourke St Mall on Thursday I was surprised to see thee E
class trams banked up at the Elizabeth St intersection.

A B class was stopped across the intersection in Elizabeth St.

Yarra Trams advised that the hold up was due to "an emergency services
request in Bourke St Mall at Elizabeth St"

Bourke St services were diverted via LaTrobe St and Elizabeth St
services short shunted at Melbourne Central at LaTrobe St.

It cleared fairly quickly.

Mal Rowe - who resisted the urge to go and look but kept on enjoying his
outing.
