The new junction in Williamson Rd and the new depot access track in
Hampstead Rd are finished and 6034 was the test tram today.

First pic shows 6034 approaching the junction from the reserve near
Wests Rd.

Second pic shows it edging into the new depot access track from
Hampstead Rd.

Mal Rowe - noting that the regular 82 service will use the new curves
from first tram tomorrow morning (Wednesday)

Thanks Mal.

What a huge variety of kerbing material is used in Melbourne for vehicle and tram separation.

Andrew.

Hey all.

Can someone tell me me why they tested the new junction and track with a C Class & an E Class but not a D1 or D2?....Also once the new depot is operational,i have heard maybe feb/march 25 long before any G Class
are even thought of being in service will they move most/all Z's from Essendon and start running the 57 & 82 from there or wi everything be put on hold until the firsr Gis ready for service?
