[VOTE] RELEASE-1.6.0-RC2

Hello All,

I've prepared a release for v1.6.0 (RC2)

Changes since 1.5.1:

This time around we have no artifacts because building out of the source tarball is not complete, and we are not distributing RPM's to be voted upon anymore. There will be convenience RPM's for download still. You will need to check out the git tag and build from there following the instructions in the build directory.

This corresponds to git:

Hash: f171d5a1197d9cfe66ab4b914fdd8d92865e3b01

Tag: RELEASE-1.6.0-RC2

Which can be verified with the following:

git tag -v RELEASE-1.6.0-RC2

My code signing key is available here:

Make sure you refresh from a key server to get all relevant signatures.

The vote is open until Tuesday July 12th, 2016.
