Kgaladai / Polentswa April/May 2027

Hello everybody,
we are currently planing a trip to Kgalagadi in April/May 2027 and hired a booking agent to book the campsites. Unfortunately they were not able to book any of the Polentswa-sites. 

We have read here that bookings on the Botswana side are often left unused but not cancelled either. 

Is there anyone on this forum who has a booking for Polentswa but no longer needs it and would like to pass it on to us? Or is there anyone who has a booking and is willing to take us along to the campsite? We still have the following gaps in our bookings wehre we would like to stay Polentswa:

Arrival: 28 April 2027 – Departure: 30 April 2027
Arrival: 2 May 2027 – Departure: 3 May 2027

If so, please contact us via private message and we will provide you with further information about us.

Any other hints to get the bookings are welcome.

Also ask on Facebook, KTP Bookings Available / Requested - Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park: https://www.facebook.com/groups/771224539680739. Good luck though, people easily sell their bookings they cannot use here, but finding available dates seldom happens!

To travel the Polentswa trail, one has to spend the first night at Polentswa campsite and I am afraid that makes the campsite pretty popular. I got lucky in 2024 and got the reserve site on arrival but they won't pre-book it.
