Sitatunga to Passarge Pan

Hello everyone,

We’re planning a trip this August, driving from Sitatunga to Passarge Pan, then on to Piper, and finally from Piper to Ghanzi. Could you please advise whether it’s better to take the route via Toteng or the Rakops River when traveling from Sitatunga to Passarge Pan? Additionally, is it possible to drive from Piper to Ghanzi, specifically to reach Thakadu Bush Camp?

Hallo Leatitia,

The road via Rakops will keep you on tar for longer but take you further away from Passarge. I would go via Totemg and Tsau Gate. Be prepared for deep sand.

Yes you can drive from Piper to Thakadu in a day, again deep sand especially when you leave CKGR from Xade Gate to New Xade Village.
