Clone ticket with a reference

Hi,
on Trac 1.2.3 using the ticket clone feature, there is no reference from the cloned to the clone. Sometimes this would be useful. Would it be possible to make this at least an option of that feature to have a bi-directional link from each one to the other? This would be like marking duplicate which also has a reference to the other ticket.
Beside that is there some custom field type like "tickets" which allows to set one or multiple ticket numbers which are hyperlinked to the tickets? Text fields with #123 don't create hyperlinks.
Some plugins like MasterTicketsPlugin have such field types like "Blocked by".
