Hello, I am taking the baton from Lindy, (big thanks for organizing this final 8th grade outdoor trip Lindy).

Here are details for this weekend - weather looks great - river flows look great (1500 CFS) - see you Friday night in the woods!

1) When you arrive, please check in with the Camp Host and submit (see attached) the appropriate liability waivers. It should be clear which tents are for our group and if not the Camp Host will point everyone in the right direction.

There are three attachments to this email.

1. Liability release form - print and turn in when you get there (I already said this above, but am putting it twice for those of you who skim emails)

2. A map of Mother Lode so you can see where the platform tents and general tent set up areas are situated. There is no charge to use the handful of platform tents (with cots inside) if you prefer that to setting up your own tent. These platform tents are first come, first serve. Three people have requested them so far - per our bylaws, if we have a tie it will be settled via a yodeling contest.

3. The standard recommended packing list.

The address is:

Mother Lode River Center
PO Box 456
Coloma, CA 95613-0456

The Scoop!

We are booked at Motherlode River Center - about 2.5 hrs away depending on traffic in the Sierra foothills.

In general, there is room for one parent and one son, there may be a few extra spots for another parent, but given the range of activities this isn't intended for siblings.
