Wrench in the works

[Tower Ave Band]

TABsters, 

I got off the phone with Jim Linnemann this morning and he inadvertently gave our usual spot to a (pretty cool sounding) Milwaukee songwriters collective last year.  They have 5 artists lined up, so it's hard to change that. 

I asked him to pencil us in for Sat. October 12 (the next weekend), which is open. 

Can everyone make that date, or should I try to find another date?

Unfortunately, I cannot do 10/12 or any other Saturday in October. I have a few Fridays open on paper, but I have some family travel to schedule in October and late September, so I can't commit to anything at the moment. You'll have to journey on without me this year.

Just an update: 

We have Sat the 12th, but Dale, Penny and Pat can't make it on the 12th, which is kind of sucky, so trying to see if anything else is available.

I was talking with Jim about other open October dates as well, but they are all Fridays. I have to call him again to see what is available. He was away from his calendar when we spoke.

In the meantime,  keep looking at parts and signing up.

I just heard from our regular late night sitter.  

Her sister is in town the weekend of the 12th and she will not be able to watch my kids.

My wife is up north that weekend.

I can still likely work something out with the time I have.

However, were there any other weekends that are possibilities given that there are others that can't do that date either?

I think the Friday October 25th was open, but we’d have to throw some Halloween stuff in.

Also, I asked Dave if ZMF could open for us again, since we don’t really have a whole night by ourselves. 

I can ask them and Jim Linneman if the 25th would work. Have to be quick though.

Does Friday the 25th pose a problem for anyone?

My wife is also out of town that weekend in October(25-27).

I just checked with my sitter.  She's out of town Oct. 25 visiting family as well.

I will work something out. Let me know what date works for the best combination of people and I will get something figured out for that date.

Sorry I'm really not trying to be a pain in the ass. My wife just does a bunch of out of town races in October.  She's gone Oct 11-13 and Oct 25-27.  

Apparently our go to sitter has issues those days as well. It's strange. 

I will make whatever days we need work. I can find another sitter or maybe they can do sleep overs or something. With months of notice I can figure something out.

Don't schedule around me necessarily.
