I changed the PC. The previous one had windows 7 and the new one has windows 10.
In the new PC also tortoise is installed.

I copied my data from the previous PC and in my data there were also my svn working copies.

My problem is that tortoise is not able to recognize these working copies.

If I checkout new working copies they work, but I would like to use my previous working copies.

Second point: with the new working copies, I don't have the icons overload working

Did you copy it with explorer? If yes: did you also copy over the hidden .svn folder?

in case you had an old TSVN version on your old pc and now a new version, right-click on a working copy and you'll see a context menu entry "TSVN Upgrade wc".
use that to upgrade the working copy to the new version.

did you reboot after installing TSVN?

I restored from a PC backup. The .svn folder is there. The point is that tortoise seems not to recognize it as a working copy. In fact it doesn't show the menu voices (like repo-browser etc.) that it shows when you right-click on a working copy.

In the menu voices I find the item to update the version of the working copy, but if I select it, it just says that there is nothing that can be updated.

This happens with many working copies, but actually there seems to be nothing wrong in any of it.

For what is concerning the second issue that I have, the missing of overload icons, I found that the only way to have it working is to select the "shell mode". In the default mode it does not work with my windows10.

Basically it seems that the problem is in the wc.db file, inside the .svn.

If I replace the wc.db with another taken from a new working copy, Tortoise will show the archive menus.

But what is wrong in the wc.db in my previous archive? I'm wondering if I can fux it.

Not the "update" but the "upgrade" entry. It shows not in the submenu but the top context menu.

See "Upgrading the Working Copy"
