Lost all work after trust tortoise promise that all data is safe.

On the page https://tortoisesvn.net/recyclebin.html I had read tortoise promise "you will never ever lose any data" so I started to trust that tortoise is  really safe. Unfortunately I have bad surprise that all cleauped data instead  of  moving to recycle bin was permanently erased. After my small investigation I found that the reason is simple my data was bigger than limit of recycle bin. I know that I could check it but  on the other hand  the promise is the promise that is not true in this specific case. Maybe some kind of warning is a solution.
