This discussion covers the use case of editing paths in properties.

In such cases I navigate within the string using crtl-arrow keys.
If I try this just now in the google-groups-editor with a path string

/abc/def/ghi-jkl/nmo

the cursor will jump between the path delimiters / and the dash -
If I use ctrl-arrow keys it in a properties editor, the cursor will only stop at the dash and I have to navigate within the path by repeated arrow key strokes which is very annoying.

Is it possible to configure the editor to treat slashes as word delimiters, too?

Best regards
Bernhard

Sorry, currently that's not possible.
And I'm not sure it ever will. But I'll keep trying...

Done.
You can try a nightly build.

Great that you could find a solution :-)

Attempting to test it I was not able to find a sufficiently recent nightly build,

Where can I find it (x64)?

Well, sometimes the nightly build fails.
Just wait until we fix that.

Works as expected. Great. Thanks a lot.

There are some more dialogs (single line type, as far as I remember) with this behaviour (but not all of the dialoogs).
I will report in this thread when I stumble across them next time.
If it is not a great effort, maybe you can implement fixes for them, too.

Yours, Bernhard
