Index rev / pack file revision numbers do not match

What does this mean and is there a way to fix it? 

We have received numerous messages over the last week regarding SVN: 

• an attempt was made to move the file pointer before the beginning of the file 
  
• cannot set printer priority 
• Index rev / pack file revision numbers do not match
  

We have tried troubleshooting this issue but getting absolutely nowhere.

This is the second time we have lost access to our logs meaning we have lost all our edits/comments on the revisions and can no longer access it due to the errors.

Also, side note, any time we try to access the log, it says it can only show logs for 1970-1979 and earlier, there is nothing from 2000. Even though we only started using it in 2019 yet it cannot provide logs for this year at all.

Can someone please help? 

This used to be a good application but its caused nothing but bother.

I strongly suspect the problem is in Subversion itself, not in the Tortoise client. What have you tried using just the command line client?
