Is there a way to have Tortoise fetch the changes from the repository and update the overlays accordingly without using "Update"? (I don't want to actually update the files yet). If I use "Check for modifications" and "Check Repository" I can see the changes, but they don't update my overlays.

Thanks in advance,

Hello Félix,

To my mind there is no such thing as "git fetch" with Subversion: either the Working Copy is up-to-date (@HEAD) or it's not. Having a file with an old file content (HEAD-1) but the green tick overlay icon seems to be an non-sense, isn't it?
Fortunately you can pull an Update from the server even if you have local modifications, if that can help you.
