In my workflow, I bouncing between several different root repositories. This results in my URL history filling up with URLs from the root repo I used last. All the other root repo URLs will be pushed off the pulldown list and I need to look up or remember the other root repos regularly. For me, this happens at least several times a week but often multiple times each day.

I would like to have more options to ensure I can always, or at least have a higher chance of, seeing all the root repos I use.

Here are some ideas:
- Add the ability to customize the number of the items in the URL History pulldown.
- Retain the last URL in a previously-used root repo. It could stay at the bottom of the URL History list as it got pushed down but never be punted from the list entirely. This would, in effect, shrink the URL History list by the number of root repos but it's relatively easy to clean out the URL History or delete individual URLs so this is fine.
- Provide a method to add particular URLs that will always be displayed, like a "favorite URL" list. This list must be customizable and probably in the settings, and in the UI it may be a second pulldown in the dialog to keep the URL history as it is now.

I didn't find related results when I searched for "url history" in this group so I hope this wasn't requested already and I missed it.

Currently, that number is fixed to 25 items per domain. I'll add an option to configure that number.

the url history is independent of the svn roots. Because the url history is used before any attempt to contact the url is made. So that's not really an option. Sorry.

Thank you!

Perhaps I'm using the wrong terminology. By "svn root repo" I meant the "server name" part of "http://<server name>/svn/<repo name>". If I open a location at "http://<server1>/svn/<repo1>", and then a load of URLs under "http://<server2>/svn/<repo2>", "repo1" will get pushed off the end of the list. I commonly work with several servers and quite a number of different repos in each server, so being able to keep the server/repo combinations (or at least all the servers) would be a big help for me.

I hope that may be more clear? Or perhaps you did understand me and I don't get the limitation you're talking about. If it's the latter, sorry.

A longer URL history will help with my concern above, regardless.
