Files being marked as changed when opened by adobe programs?

I have an artist using TortoiseSVN

The file they're using gets marked by a "!" the instant they open it by a program like Photoshop, instead of when they are being saved. I tried with a simple .txt file and notepad and no issues there.

Anyone has a similar issue? The artist said it started doing it recently.

I don't think it's TortoiseSVN that is the issue here, but you never know. I figurine someone here could know what's happening here.

Yes this is not an artifact of SVN but the save functions of the associate s program. Ms PowerPoint does this. Excel will prompt if you want to save on close even if you move what cell is selected.
