Hi Team,

Could you please guide to me to handle the problem with SVN commit.

Problem : TortoiseSVN takes long time (~5 minutes) to show "changes made list" during initial commit ( First commit after system restart).

Description : From the next time on wards TortoiseSVN takes only few seconds (~ 15 seconds) to show "change made list" during commit.

SVN Server version : Apache Subversion 1.8.8 (r1568071)
TortoiseSVN version : 1.9.7 , 1.8.*,1.7.*
Repository size : 54GB

Expecting your suggestion.

Thank you.

The second time it's faster because Windows keeps a cache of harddrive data, so after the first time it's much faster to read all the files.

But you can help speed the process up:
Run 'cleanup' and in the cleanup dialog, make sure to check the box "Fix time stamps". The box "Vacuum pristine copies" also helps a little, but mostly "Fix time stamps".
