Hi,
I installed tortoise svn client on my new laptop with win11.
Let me start by saying that I have been using this client for years with my old PCs.
The only thing I always do is install it, right click on some backup folders, "checkout". When I do this the program asks me whether to accept the certificate and I accept forever but immediately afterwards the window appears saying
"Unable to connect to a repository at URL"
followed by the server host and then by
"Access to xxxx forbidden" .
I checked C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Subversion to see if there is any saved data, but the folders are empty, they only contain the certificate and when I delete it it asks for it again but the window to enter the credentials NEVER appears.
What could it depend on?

Thanks for your help

The error "Access to xxxx forbidden" means that you've successfully authenticated to the server, but your user account has insufficient permissions to access the specific URL (root of the repository or path within it). If you aren't getting prompted for credentials, then perhaps your server has Active Directory Single Sign-On enabled (or something similar to it). In that case the SVN client automatically authenticates using your current Windows credentials (the credentials of the user account used to sign into your new Windows 11 machine). So maybe you are signed into Windows under a different account now?
