TortoiseSVN 1.11.0 has been released.
It is linked against the new Subversion 1.11.0 library.

This release contains a lot of new features, including improved icons for high dpi monitors and of course they work better with the new Explorer dark mode in Win10 1809.

Make sure you read the release notes first before upgrading:

You can download it from our website:

Install fails on Windows 10 64-bit with latest updates and Visual Studio 2017 Pro (latest updates too)

<<
Please install the Universal CRT first. You can install it via
Windows-Update (kb29992296). Or you can manually
download it from Microsoft by doing a search for
'universal CRT download'

How exactly does the installation fail? Do you get an error?
Also make sure your msi file isn't corrupted: check the digital signature on the file. If there isn't one then your file is corrupted.

the installer checks if the file ucrtbase.dll exists in windows\system32. That error is shown if it's not there.
And if it's not there then the universal CRT isn't installed. At least according to the docs.

The file does exist.

please run the installer manually like this
msiexec /i "TortoiseSVN-1.11.0.28416-x64-svn-1.11.0.msi" /L*V "C:\tsvn-install.log"

and then attach the log file here. Maybe I can figure out what's wrong with the log.

Thanks, that helped.
I've uploaded fixed installers now.
But you could also get it to work by opening an admin console and install it with the command line
msiexec /i path/to/msi

Thanks. Running installer as administrator did the trick.

Not sure if it is this upgrade or GitHub but in TortoiseSVN 1.11.0, Build 28416 - 64 Bit , 2018/10/30 19:14:39 I am unable to check out git repos from GitHub.

On an older box with TortoiseSVN 1.10.2, Build 28392 - 64 Bit , 2018/10/07 21:26:46 this still seems to work.

Here's the repository I am trying to check out: https://github.com/wachulski/nunit-migrator.git/trunk
