When installing TortoiseSVN 1.10.5 (latest on long term support, file TortoiseSVN-1.10.5.28651-x64-svn-1.10.6.msi), it seems like TortoisePlink no longer runs. The prior version (file TortoiseSVN-1.10.4.28626-x64-svn-1.10.6.msi) works just fine.

Test: under a Windows 10 command prompt, simply run tortoiseplink. Under 1.10.4, a graphical help window shows up with all the different command line options. Under 1.10.5, the mouse cursor briefly changes to a circle, and then nothing happens, there is no graphical help window. This is the easiest way to reproduce this possible bug.

Configuration: We use TortoisePlink with user id and password in the SSH client line under the Network tab, so no svn+ssh:// connections work under 1.10.5, but it works just fine under 1.10.4.

Thanks in advance for helping me confirm if this is a true problem.

unfortunately, that problem was caused by a compiler bug in VS:

while the bug has been fixed, we haven't released a fixed version of TSVN yet.
But you can download a nightly build from here:
