I have the following Excel data that I would like to import into a taxonomy.

I tried to use the "Self-Join" import mode and below is my configuration:

However, I experienced the following error when I clicked the "Preview" button.

We are using EDG 6.4.0. Thank you!

Hi Fan Li,

I have tried to reproduce this without success. I tried it against an empty Taxonomy with Concept as the target. Could you either send me the example or any details on the error message (Java stack trace from error log or so)?

Thanks
Holger

I was also not able to reproduce using  6.4.3.

Attached imports just fine with the following mappings

import example.xlsx

Holger and Irene, Many thanks to both of you! Now I see one difference is that I didn't specify an ID column, because I assumed it will be generated automatically. If I specify an ID column, the import is successful.

More update: I just upgraded to EDG 6.4.2 (I don't see 6.4.3 available yet). After that I no longer see the option to select ID columns which makes sense as I use UUID as URI construct method. So I guess the problem is solved for me.
