I really like the Assets Hierarchy panel.  The ability to define a shape and then populate it (via right-click on a property) is a very powerful UI component, one that I hope to make extensive use of.

I would like to share a few things that might improve the user experience:
  1. Adding an instance to a property shape - right clicking on the property shape allows me to create an instance of the target defined by the property or select an existing instance.  When performing either action, the proper triple is created.  However, the tree does not expand to show this new addition.  Is it possible to auto-expand the tree to show the new addition?  Note, the new node does appear if other children exist and they are already visible.
  2. Adding another "top level" node - If I add an instance of the node shape that is driving the panel, the entire tree is collapsed to its top level nodes upon addition of the new instance.  Is it possible to add the node and still preserve the state of the tree?  (e.g. don't collapse it)
Thank you for your consideration,

Tim

Hello Tim,

Thank you for the feedback and comments regarding this panel.  I've opened up a development ticket capturing these suggestions.  If you have more details to add to this request, please feel free to comment.

Thanks again,
