Perhaps somebody can help...

I'm trying to export a project to a server from TCME. The project mostly successfully exports but I get the following error (below in blue).

Everything else works except some logo images. Below the system error is an expanded error message from tbl.log (in red).

Hi Marcus,

I noticed this code has been completely refactored in 6.4 and we don't plan to deliver a further 6.3 bug fix update now that 6.4 beta is already out. Unless of course this is a serious show stopper.

Could you try the same process with 6.4 beta or are you reliant on 6.3?

Also, do you think the logo images issue you describe is due to this exception?

Thanks,
Holger

I'll give it a go locally, the version of server deployed is: 6.3.2.v20200409-1733R

It appears to be but I'm not sure. Have tried various approaches including physically copying files with no luck. The relative links to images and CSS all seem correct and mirror that which works in the localhost. Unfortunately the java exception trace doesn't tell me much. I note the "unknown protocol: sop" which seems to indicate "sop" is being treated like a protocol where "sop" is a part of an image path in the rendered HTML (e.g. <img alt="Logo" src="lib/sop/images/sop_header.png">).

EDG is deployed as the ROOT application in Tomcat but if that were the issue I wouldn't expect just the images and css for the header to fail. A bit stumped because everything else just works.

Hi Marcus,

There are two separate issues here.

1. The "lvls put be non-negative" message: Deployment of EDG 6.3.2 as the ROOT.war web application is not supported. The only supported context path is "/edg". You already observed that deploying as ROOT.war *mostly* works, but there are a number of known issues the prevent this from fully working on EDG 6.3.2, including internal forwards (causing the error message) and certain relative links (probably causing the CSS/image problems). These issues have been addressed with EDG 6.4.0, but this happened late in the release cycle, and deployment as ROOT.war has not yet been incorporated into our regular testing regime. Therefore we still recommend to deploy EDG 6.4.0 as edg.war for the moment.

2. The "Error loading graph sop:ui_core_import.ttl" message: It looks like one of the .ui.ttlx files in the workspace imports a file "sop:ui_core_import.ttl", presumably with the intention to use a declared prefix "sop:" to abbreviate the graph URI of the imported file. But imports need to be entered as full, unabbreviated URIs.

Hope that helps,
Richard

Thanks Richard,

That is very helpful. I'll redeploy as suggested and check the URL for the file that fails.

cheers,
Marcus

For the record the bogus graph name was identified as a search/replace mistake and fixed - it didnt seem to throw errors running on TBC locally but did get caught on the server - but something to check.  It would be nice if TBC was able to highlight such errors on workspace load and refresh, given that its looking at all the graph URIs anyway.
