Hi,

I am going through our files and noticed that in one of the Spin functions cannot be edited in EDG. Usually there is a "Use Spin SPARQL Editor" option.

Not in this one spin_body.PNG
The source code contains the info that I would usually expect
(sp:body, sp:object, sp:predicate, sp:subject etc).

Is there something else I can do to make the "Spin SPARQL Editor" available?

Thanks
Julia

Hi Julia,

the editor will only show up when there is already a value for spin:body. In your screenshot, the function doesn't seem to have a body yet.

The reason behind this is that we are discouraging the creation of any new SPIN functions and magic properties. Instead, users are encouraged to declare

At TopQuadrant we still have lots of SPIN functions around but will gradually move away from SPIN as well.

Hope this makes sense, please let me know if you cannot use SHACL for your use cases.

Holger

Thanks for the speedy response.

This is legacy code so it was easier for me to fix the source code. In the end I went through it with a fine tooth comb and found the issue.

There was a spin body with a DELETE query.
However, for sp:graphNameNode "ui:addedGraph" was chosen. I changed it to "projectGraph" and that solved the issue.

I am not sure why this completely disabled the spin body from the form view, when it was actually there in the source code.
