Workflow Frozen for Review

Hello,

I have a question regarding a message I am getting when running the AutoClassifier. 

I get a message that says "workflow is frozen for review".  I am unsure of where to go to approve the tags.  I think it may have to do with the permissions set up in the standard workflow.

Where can I a) check this standard workflow and b) how can I approve the tags.

Hi Anna,

You would see this only if some user had actually frozen the workflow for review.

Click on the “gear button” to the left of the Taggings tab

This will bring you to the Workflow State page that will present the following options:

You can pick either the first action or the second action.

If you approve, the changes will stay frozen and the only option you will then have is to Accept changes to production - which commits them.

The page will change as follows:

If you click on Request further changes, the working copy will be unfrozen and further content changes/edits can be made. You could, for example, click on Taggings and modify tags in the tagging app or you could use Reports to make changes.

On the Workflow State page you will see an option to either commit changes or to freeze for review again.

Thanks for the reply Irene,

When I click on the "gear button" I get a different option screen (see below).  I don't have an option to approve the changes?  I am unsure of where to go to approve tags so they make it to the production copy.

Yes, who can move a Basic Workflow from one state to another is defined using users permission profiles.

If a workflow is based on the “Basic template” and it is in the "frozen for review” state, only users with Manager permission profile for the workflow can do the next actions.

Whomever starts a workflow is automatically given Manager permission profile for it. They can grant this profile to other users.

If you started the workflow, you should have the right permissions. If it was another user, then they will need to move it to the next state. Alternatively, they can give you the permission.

I believe administrative login has Manager profile for everything in EDG.

There is a way to make permission profile assignments automatic based on governance roles, but this is a different story.
