TopBraid 6.4 Public Beta Announcement

Dear Users,

 

TopQuadrant is pleased to announce the Public Beta availability of TopBraid 6.4!

 

TopBraid EDG version 6.4 completes transition to the new user experience delivered in 6.3 for editing and viewing asset collections. With this, “old”, pre-6.3 editors are no longer available as an option. To make this transition possible we added various improvements to the editor including improving Problem and Suggestions panel, SPARQL query panel, and Change History panel.

Version 6.4 delivers a number of new capabilities including new import and data cataloging options, support for GeoSPARQL query and a Google map panel to display the results, various personalization features, ability to store document attachments in S3.  These and other new features are described in more detail in the release notes.

As always, we appreciate your participation in our Beta test program and look forward to your feedback.  Please submit your input by July 10th 2020.

Hi, I'm trying to migrate to 6.4 (I'm in MAC) and I still get the error below, even though my system allows the installation of apps from anywhere (as I'm showing). I've looked to several web pages with more details, but nothing seems to help

Thanks, David. This is the FAQ I used to try to fix the situation. It's AFTER following the advice there and googling 

other solutions that I find myself still in problems. The screen capture I sent already shows that my system can install apps

from 'anywhere'. Any other options?

Try this:

Navigate to folder in which you have TopBraid Composer.app 

Right-click on app icon and select Open

When Mac asks, tell it to open it anyway - and it remember that about that version of the app.

I was in a situation once where when I looked in Settings, it said that Install from Anywhere was enabled, but it still didn’t work. 

I think I reran the shell command again and then it finally worked. In any case, this is nothing specific to TBC.
