Is there a limit to the depth of the tree in Assets Hierarchy?

Hi,

I am using the Assets Hierarchy panel to provide navigation to a fairly deep graph.  As I click down through the layers, I get to a point where the tree does not expand further.  This appears to be level 7 (8 if count root).  If I make the node shape of the instance where expansion stops the root shape of another Assets Hierarchy window, I can expand those shapes, so I know it is not an error in my model.

Is this by design?  Can this limit be increased?  My models can be 15-20+ layers deep, depending on the use case and projection from graph to tree structure.

Thanks,

Tim

Hi Tim,

I am not aware of such a limit, see

I have no explanation of why yours would be limited. Do you have any more information such as a screenshot?

Holger

Just to close this email thread here in case someone else runs into a similar issue. Tim had sent me the example off-list, and there is no depth limit. However, we found that the tree is using the sh:node constraints for the property and there were conflicting sh:node constraints on the class that was reached at the tree level because there was another sh:node to drive a ValueTableViewer. Long story short, the Assets Hierarchy will first look for sh:node constraints and only expand the properties listed in those, and only then look at the declared sh:class of the respective property.
