Cabin Heater Options for a 1975 26 Sedan

I’m looking for recommendations on cabin heater options for my 1975 26 Sedan. The heater that came with the boat only works when the engine is running (engine-heat style), and I’d like something that can provide heat when we’re at anchor or docked without the motor on.

What are others running in these boats? Diesel heater, propane, I already have an electric space heater (shore power) but I'm hoping to install something I can use off grid? Any specific brands or setups that fit well in this model?

Appreciate any advice or photos of your installs. Thanks!

We have a Wallas kerosene/diesel cooktop that also functions as a heater when the top is closed that heats our 26 sedan nicely. We have only used kerosene but probably will try using diesel at some point since that would be more readily available at any fuel dock. It does use the house battery to run the fan, the heat is from the fuel, so if the battery gets too low it won’t function.

I put a Wallas GB30 in my 34' Sedan and love it.  

It has a small portable diesel fuel tank, it's perfect if you have a place for it.  It can't be mounted where there's possibility of gas fumes.  Mine is in the closet, sealed from any possible fumes.  Can't be in eng roomor near fuel takes! 

ScanMarine on Westlake in Seattle is fantastic to work with.  Cost about $4k for parts.  

A heater is a game changer in the PNW. Comfortable winter nights in the SanJuans.
