Is it possible to use "Ctrl-b" as a normal mode for tmux, as you would use "Esc" key in vim?

Hi,

I'm trying to use tmux very similarly to how one would use vim. The idea is to try to use "Ctrl-b" ("Ctrl-a" in my case) as a normal mode instead of just a prefix command. So instead of switching windows using "Ctrl-b h Ctrl-b j Ctrl-b k Ctrl-b l", instead you can just do "Ctrl-b h j k l Ctrl-b" with the last Ctrl-b quitting the command mode. Is such a configuration possible?

Yes you will need to bind your keys so that either they all repeat (-r) or so that they use switch-client -T to stay in the prefix table after they are done.
