Hello, I seem to be running into an issue with TMUX when I try to run the 'who am i' or 'who -m' command. A quick google search as too why this happens resulted in this from stack overflow stating this used to be an issue but was fixed in version 2.0. I read through the change notes for 2.0 and failed to find any mention of it, so I'm wondering if it was actually addressed. I also didn't notice any Git issues about this so I'm wondering if it's my setup. I tested without a configuration file and I still can't get output. I'm accessing a server via SSH, and then connecting to the TMUX session so that may have an affect on it. All environment variables are correct, $TERM is xterm-256color outside TMUX, screen inside. Just running 'who' outputs results so it must have something to do with not being able to see the user within the TMUX session. Also, running 'whoami' returns the correct result. I have a few scripts that rely on the information provided by 'who am i' that can no longer run in a TMUX session. Let me know if you need more information.

Thanks,

Daeghan

Possibly this looks at utmp so you will need to build tmux with libutempter for it to work.
