tmux version: 2.9a
steps to reproduce:

1. run tmux
2. disable mouse support via set -g mouse off
3. run vim
4. enable mouse support in vim: set mouse=a
5. run two times :vsp
6. Windows setup in VIM:   A | B | C
7. Drag border between A and B - border can be dragged
8. Drag border between B and C - border cannot be dragged

Execute steps: 3-8 without the tmux. The difference is that border between B and C is now draggable

Any ideas?

Aren't you meant to use ttymouse=sgr or something? Best ask the vim folks.

That's exactly the issue! Thanks!

Running vim in tmux somehow sets ttymouse=xterm, which causes this problem with columns>220.
