What is -D (capital D) option for in a new-session command?

Man page for the new-session command says:

>>    -A  makes new-session behave like attach-session if session-name already exists;  in this case, -D behaves like -d to attach-session.

O, "-d" sets initial size 80x24.  But what does -D (uppercase) do?

I've also searched the latest docs here http://man.openbsd.org/OpenBSD-current/man1/tmux.1

I don't think we're talking about the tmux -D which has to do with not demonizing, which is also a newer option.

I'm using tmux -V 2.8 on Debian Buster. 

It's a really great tool.  Thanks.

-D for new-session does what -d does for attach-session which is "If -d is specified, any other clients attached to the session are detached.".
