I have multiple clients connected to the same session ( not is session group ) , which basically mirrors everything . I want to connect to the same session is session group setting .
Currently this is how i do :

1 . tmux detach-client
2 . tmux attach-session -t sessiongroup -s new-sessionname

Is there a way to do it using key binding without detaching the cilent perhaps ?

Thanks

You should be able to bind attach-session to a key binding or use it from the command prompt inside tmux, or use switch-client.

Thanks , I think i got a way .
new-session -t $CURRENT_SESSION_GROUP would work .
In the process found a bug too , new sessions part of session group , not showing up in choose-tree .\
However tmux list-sessions shows 'em
Let me know if valid bug , will open bug .

choose-tree only shows one session in each group, you can show them all with -G.
