OSC 52 and nested tmux

I use nested tmux sessions quite a bit (one outer tmux session is running locally and inside some of the panes I have ssh sessions with tmux running remotely). Is there a way to configure the inner or outer tmux session to allow OSC 52 copy sequence to flow through all the way to the system clipboard?
