A couple of tmux fixes

Hey,

Since tmux is part of OpenBSD (and I run OpenBSD), I submitted a couple
of diffs for tmux to te...@openbsd.org on 2020-05-23. After reading the
Contributing document on github, I'm not sure that was the way to go
(but it's still unclear to me what the *preferred* diff submission
process is for tmux).

So instead of making new PRs for these, I'm just posting links to my
diffs here on this tmux-users list since the README on github says it
can be used for code contributions. (I guess this list is more
appropriate than tech@.)
