wikification seems work inappropriately

In tiddlywiki.com create a new tiddler and put the below text

This is t__tarla and I am there.

On save TW shows the above text as

This is ttarla and I am here.


Why TW does not check the closing delimiter e.g __?

Should TW recognize some word boundaries?

VERY interesting comment.

I think there is culture around WikiText that assumes you know to close it and if you don't its your fault.

I think this issue is more about explaining conventions than getting Jeremy to add further complexity.

Myself, I think its fine as is ...

I start ''bold here and
forgot to close it ... <br>
<br>

Even in next paragraph.

I think it helps the user discover when they don't do something quite write. Seeing an entire paragraph in bold text except for the first two words is a pretty quick way to tell that you messed something up.
