Hello,

in an attempt to build a new plugin, I discovered that when I do

> node tiddlywiki.js path/to/my/wiki --build index

Using node and a local copy of tiddlywiki5 repository, my wiki and my plugin are perfectly built.

But when I do

> tiddlywiki path/to/my/wiki --build index

Using node and a npm install of tiddlywiki, my wiki is built but my plugin is not here. No error thrown by the console and none of the files of my plugins are in the wiki...

Does anyone have a hint on what happens here ?

cheers,

Sylvain

Hi,

thanks for the hint. I guess the answer is somewhere around. But for now, I was unable to set environment variables as expected nor to find where they are stored... Will have to enhance my skills in windows shell before processing I'm affraid.

cheers,

Hi Sylvain

Could you outline what your wiki folder looks like?

It may also be worth checking which versions you’ve got installed:

> node tiddlywiki.js path/to/my/wiki --version

> tiddlywiki path/to/my/wiki --version

Best wishes

Jeremy

Hello Jeremy and all,

* I have a main tiddlywiki repo containing the master branch of TW5 : Sy/Code/tiddlywiki5 (so it's 5.1.20-pre I guess)
* Just beside, I have a dev repo containing my developments only (no core element there) : Sy/Code/TW5dev in this one I have a /plugins/sycom/ folder where are my plugins files and a /editions/ folder where are stored my tiddlywiki.info files.
* I have a global nodejs install of tiddlywiki on my computer (up to date and running 5.1.19)

When I'm in Sy/Code/TW5dev > ,
* launching tiddlywiki editions/plugins-feather-icons --build index the wiki is built, but without the plugin I declared.
* launching node ../tiddlywiki5/tiddlywiki.js ../TW5dev/editions/plugins-feather-icons --build index does the work. So I have  a way to get the job done and my problem is not critical. But I wish I had not to grab all tiddlywiki5 repo if I want to work from elsewhere.
In both case, I'm referring to same tiddlywiki.info file

I tried to set environment variables as suggested by pmario, but I'm affraid I'm not skilled enough to understand windows shell. I never managed to know if I did correctly or not. More probably not since it's still doesn't work ;-)

Cheers,
