Favicon on tiddlyspot doesn't work

Hi,

I gave my private wiki successfully a favicon- it works :-)
Now I wanted to give my public wiki on tiddlyspot a favicon too- but there it doesn't work. Not at all.

I tried it with painting a picture and with importing a picture. I titled both with $:/favicon.ico and set both to type image/x-icon.

What do I have to do for having a favicon for my public tiddlyspot-wiki?

What image format do you use? I think SVG doesn’t work.

I have .png on both wikis (the local one and on tiddlyspot).

And I tested it now: .jpg also doesn't work on tiddlyspot.

Hi Surya, I have a favicon on some tiddlyspot pages, I've set the type of $:/favicon.ico to image/png

maybe that works for you, too?

now it works :-)

I had a look on my site on my tablet with chrome and there the favicon was working.
Then I opened it on my desktop-browser- it worked too :-) After 2 days several times rebooting the browser and rebooting the computer.

Maybe, the browser needed time to think about that favicon, if he thinks, it is good ;-)))
I don't need to understand that behaviour.... ;-)
